Chinmaya Mission DFW’s Bala Vihar is a weekly program for children from Pre-K through Grade 12, designed to build cultural understanding, values, and spiritual awareness through age-appropriate learning. The curriculum introduces children to the Ramayana, Mahabharata, Bhagavad Gita, Puranas, shlokas, bhajans, and Vedantic values through stories, songs, discussions, and activities. Classes progress by grade level, from story-based learning for younger children to deeper discussions on dharma, ethics, and the Bhagavad Gita for older students. Bala Vihar has been offered by Chinmaya Mission DFW for decades and is supported by more than 200 trained teacher volunteers.
